There is a place for talk, but actions have a bigger impact on the world around us. There are around 60,000 people living in Reston, VA and 25,000 people living in Herndon, the primary areas served by Cornerstones, an organization that the CORE Foundation actively supports.  Each year Cornerstones and it’s visionary team of CEO Kerrie Wilson and Board Chair Jill Norcross publish the Cornerstones Impact Report and like previous years, year the numbers tell a story of hope, stability and empowerment.

In 2015, Cornerstones served almost 1 in 5 people living in the Reston/Herndon area, including over 8,000 children. They offer stability and hope for those in need and their mission of empowering those that they serve, so that they can regain their independence, is something we can all get behind. http://www.cornerstonesva.org/a-message-from-our-board-chair-and-ceo/
