Nasty can be used to describe an extraordinary ability or something ridiculously good. In the world of dance, nasty represents an unreal maneuver of incredible technique.
Roc Nasty Crew is a diverse group of kids who got together in the early 1980s as one of Northern Virginia’s first organized Breakdancing crews. These self-taught kids were allowed to showcase their talents on the streets, in large venues, and as the opening act for internationally known musicians. Several of our board members were part of the original Roc Nasty Crew.
Roc Nasty Crew operates and is fiscally sponsored by CORE Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization EIN# 20-5997764, relying on donations, grants, and sponsorships to sustain its mission. We are committed to transparent financial management and our support comes in many forms. We are proud of our Charity Navigator 4 Star Rating and our Platinum Level, GuideStar 2023 Candid Seal of Transparency.
