Who We Are
CORE Foundation is a charitable incubator. Our CORE Cause leaders burn with desire to make a positive change on the world. We believe that the best way of doing that is by helping others help themselves—and giving those in need a hand up, not just a handout. We look to work with leaders of all ages with a business school brain, an entrepreneur’s spirit, and a social worker’s heart.
Many people are familiar with this famous quote, attributed to Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change you want to see in the world.” I’ve taken that quote to heart. But being the change you want to see in the world is easier said than done. The CORE Foundation helps people and organizations be that change.
We help people and organizations doing good work succeed. We focus on the blind spots that social entrepreneurs and small organizations and clubs may not know exist. We incubate good ideas to improve the lives of others and give them a better chance for success.
For each organization we support, we provide resources to help the organization succeed. Resources such as tax preparation, business planning support, and banking support, all under the umbrella of our 501(c)(3) status.
Whether you are a social entrepreneur with a great idea that can improve the lives of others, or you are a small organization that just wants to do good work, your volunteerism and commitment to others inspire us—and we want to help.

We work closely with our CORE Cause leaders to plan for their success. Through mentoring and training, we help our Causes achieve the goals of their mission.
