Committed to equipping, empowering, and encouraging every child to participate fully in multisport racing.

As a gym owner, race director, and lifelong athlete, Jen Dryzga’s driving mission is to make health and wellness accessible to the whole Reston/Herndon community, regardless of their circumstances.

Sports were ingrained in Jen’s DNA from an early age. After a collegiate athletic career, earning a degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology, she has spent over two decades sharing the transformative benefits of an active lifestyle through nonprofit work.

Her role as the Race Director for the Reston Youth Triathlon ultimately sparked the vision for Feets of Strength. Introducing kids to the swim-bike-run world illuminated a glaring need – they need proper training and equipment like running shoes and bicycles to compete.

Feets of Strength was born from the desire to empower every child to participate fully from entry to essential gear. Our goal is to outfit each youth participant with new running shoes and a refurbished bike, removing barriers to entry.

But the mission extends far beyond the Reston Youth Triathlon. We are passionate about equipping all kids in the community with the tools to lead active, healthy lives full of self-confidence, success, and strength.

Through steadfast commitment and the generosity of partners, Feets of Strength is changing lives one stride, one pedal rotation at a time.

Feets of Strength is fiscally sponsored by the CORE Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, EIN 20-5997764. Donations are tax deductible to the furthest extent of the law.
