Helping Hungry Kids (HHK), established in 2009, provides food bags to elementary school children who often go hungry on weekends. Each food bag contains non-perishable items to sustain the student over the weekend. HHK delivers more than 500 food bags each week to seven elementary schools in Reston and Herndon. During the 2022-2023 school year, HHK will have provided more than 18,000 weekend bags to students in need.
