Transforming donated bikes into reliable transportation for people who need it.
Success Cycles believes every bike deserves a second life. They collect donated bicycles, restore them, and give them away at no cost to neighbors who need a way to get to work, school, and everywhere in between.
This CORE Cause was founded by South Lakes High School students who saw an opportunity in the unused bikes gathering dust in garages across our community. Today, Success Cycles has grown into a student-led team that coordinates repairs, builds community partnerships, and gets bikes back on the road where they’re needed most.
Every donated bike is inspected, cleaned, repaired, and safety-checked before it goes to its next rider. Those riders include workers and students whose destinations aren’t well served by public transit, neighbors working toward greater financial or housing stability, and refugees and immigrants building new lives in our community. For each of them, a reliable bike can mean fewer missed shifts, easier access to appointments, and more opportunities within reach.
There are plenty of ways to help keep the wheels turning: donate a gently used bike, volunteer to fix bikes or help with pickups and events (no experience needed), or give to cover parts, tools, and safety equipment.
