TGLF Scavenger Hunt
Join us on October 5 at 10 am to explore the WO&D Trail from Herndon to Leesburg on TGLF Scavenger Hunt! At the end of the 28-mile ride, enjoy food and additional activities at Green Lizard Cycling.
The Green Lizard Foundation (TGLF), in partnership with Green Lizard Cycling, created this event to encourage teams and families to discover new locations and businesses while biking on the W&OD Trail. During the ride, members of TGLF will conduct fun and informative stops to foster teamwork while supporting local businesses.

The Green Lizard Foundation (TGLF) was founded on the principle that every young person should be able to lead a healthy, active lifestyle regardless of financial circumstances.
TGLF, the charitable arm of Green Lizard Cycling in Herndon, Virginia, was established to improve the lives of children from families in need. TGLF supplies bicycles, bicycle parts, nutrition, and learning opportunities to underserved youth in our local community.
TGLF’s founding principle led us to support our community in the following ways:
- Bicycle and helmet giveaways
- Food drives
- Sponsored youth groups
- Distributed more than 26,000 pounds of food in 2023
- Sports equipment donations to high school programs
- Distributed food gift cards to families in need during the holidays
- Sponsored fundraising events for children and adults in need
- Provided bicycles to adults in need of transportation to work
- Partnered with other nonprofits with similar missions in our community
