Our mission is to bring youth and their families in healthcare facilities a sense of connection and healing by providing them with engaging art activities. Youth Creativity Project (YCP) donates art kits and materials to youth health care facilities around D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. And we partner with youth health centers to host art workshops and lessons. YCP works with youth disability, mental health, long-term care facilities, and general children’s hospitals.
Through the healing powers of art and creativity, we hope to provide youth with a medium to express themselves and build connections with others. We were established in October 2020 by high school students in the DMV with a passion for art. Our founders wanted to create a unique way to help others remotely.
Youth Creativity Project is a CORE Cause fiscally sponsored by the CORE Foundation EIN # 20-5997764. Donations are tax deductible to the furthest extent of the law.
